Breaded Fried Cube Steak And Milk Gravy

Ingredients

- 4 cube steaks
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon season-all salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup cooking oil
- 2 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl beat milk with eggs.
- 2 in another bowl mix flour, salt and pepper.
- 3 dip steak in milk and egg mixture.
- 4 then dip in flour mixture.
- 5 coat steak well with flour mixture.
- 6 heat oil in skillet (not too hot).
- 7 add steak to skillet and cook til brown.
- 8 remove to plate with paper towel.
- 9 milk gravy.
- 10 melt butter in saucepan.
- 11 add flour and stir well.
- 12 add milk and stir until bubbly.
- 13 add salt and pepper to taste.
- 14 gravy will thicken as it boils.
- 15 serve over steak and mashed potatoes.
