Christmas Eve Zapraska Soup

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup carrot, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans string beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut juice
  • 4 quarts water
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 -2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 cook the vegetables in water for 1 1/2 hours. add the zapraska and sauerkraut juice and cook for 30 more minutes.
