Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 5 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced (unpeeled)
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
Recipe
- 1 melt butter over low heat in medium saucepan.
- 2 blend in flour, then add milk, all at once.
- 3 cook, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
- 4 add shredded cheese, season and continue to cook until cheese melts.
- 5 remove from heat.
- 6 layer cheese sauce and potatoes/onions beginning and ending with cheese sauce.
- 7 bake at 350°f for about 1 hour.
