Country Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs stew meat
  • 4 large red potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 4 tablespoons minute tapioca
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 bay leaf

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • 2 cut meat into bite-size pieces.
  • 3 cut potatoes into pieces a bit larger than meat.
