Cottage Lamb Chops

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 6 medium lamb chops
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 cups hot milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Recipe

  • 1 cut fat from chops.
  • 2 roll chops in flour and brown in skillet along with garlic.
  • 3 season with salt and pepper.
  • 4 combine parsley with 2 tbsp flour.
  • 5 butter a 2qt casserole dish and put 3 of the chops in a single layer.
  • 6 sprinkle with 1/2 of the flour and parsley mixture.
  • 7 top with 1/2 of the potatoes and onions.
  • 8 repeat layers.
  • 9 mix milk, salt and mustard.
  • 10 pour over all and cover tightly.
  • 11 bake for 1-1/2 hrs at 350.
  • 12 remove cover the last 30 minutes to brown.
  • 13 you can use more chops and more potatoes.
