Cottage Lamb Chops

Ingredients

- 6 medium lamb chops
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 6 medium potatoes
- 2 medium onions
- 2 cups hot milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Recipe
- 1 cut fat from chops.
- 2 roll chops in flour and brown in skillet along with garlic.
- 3 season with salt and pepper.
- 4 combine parsley with 2 tbsp flour.
- 5 butter a 2qt casserole dish and put 3 of the chops in a single layer.
- 6 sprinkle with 1/2 of the flour and parsley mixture.
- 7 top with 1/2 of the potatoes and onions.
- 8 repeat layers.
- 9 mix milk, salt and mustard.
- 10 pour over all and cover tightly.
- 11 bake for 1-1/2 hrs at 350.
- 12 remove cover the last 30 minutes to brown.
- 13 you can use more chops and more potatoes.
