Breaded Fried Cube Steak And Milk Gravy

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 cube steaks
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon season-all salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl beat milk with eggs.
  • 2 in another bowl mix flour, salt and pepper.
  • 3 dip steak in milk and egg mixture.
  • 4 then dip in flour mixture.
  • 5 coat steak well with flour mixture.
  • 6 heat oil in skillet (not too hot).
  • 7 add steak to skillet and cook til brown.
  • 8 remove to plate with paper towel.
  • 9 milk gravy.
  • 10 melt butter in saucepan.
  • 11 add flour and stir well.
  • 12 add milk and stir until bubbly.
  • 13 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 14 gravy will thicken as it boils.
  • 15 serve over steak and mashed potatoes.
