Chicken Breast Saute

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 can new potato, well drained
  • parsley

Recipe

  • 1 brown chicken on both sides in butter.
  • 2 add onion and garlic; cook about 5 minutes.
  • 3 in a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  • 4 dissolve bouillion cube in hot water.
  • 5 slowly stir in the flour mixture, then pour mixture over browned chicken.
  • 6 simmer, covered, about 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  • 7 add potatoes and heat.
  • 8 garnish with parsley.
  • 9 note: you can use fresh boiled potato cubes instead (which is what i usually do).
