Chole Bowle Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

- 3 cups yukon gold potatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup carrot, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 4 slices raw bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup dry wine, chardonnay
- 3 cups baked chicken breasts, cut to bite size preference
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 parmesan rind
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 16 ounces egg noodles, frozen
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat pan over medium high heat. melt butter, then add bacon & cook for 1 minute. saute onion, potato, carrots, celery, and garlic for 5 minutes.
- 2 add wine. stir to mix then add chicken. then add remaining ingredients.
- 3 bring to boil for 5 minutes.
- 4 reduce to simmer and cook for 30-45 minutes.
- 5 remove bay leave & rind, then serve.
