Beer Battered Potato Wedges

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • vegetable oil
  • 4 medium baking potatoes
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup beer

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 400.
  • 2 after washing potoes,rub them with oil.
  • 3 bake them for 1 hour,or until done.
  • 4 beating well,combine the next 5 ingredients.
  • 5 stir the beer in.
  • 6 cut the potatoes lengthwise to4 wedges.
  • 7 dip each wedge into the batter,and fry in deep fat.
  • 8 fry until golden in color.
  • 9 drain excess oil on paper towels.
