Beer Battered Potato Wedges

Ingredients
- vegetable oil
- 4 medium baking potatoes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup beer
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 400.
- 2 after washing potoes,rub them with oil.
- 3 bake them for 1 hour,or until done.
- 4 beating well,combine the next 5 ingredients.
- 5 stir the beer in.
- 6 cut the potatoes lengthwise to4 wedges.
- 7 dip each wedge into the batter,and fry in deep fat.
- 8 fry until golden in color.
- 9 drain excess oil on paper towels.
