Campbell's Vegetable Beef Soup

Total Time: 3 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 -3 lbs stew meat
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 quarts water
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup of chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup dried onion
  • 1/2 cup barley
  • 6 beef bouillon cubes

Recipe

  • 1 brown the meat in butter.
  • 2 add all other ingredients.
  • 3 pressure cook this for 20 minutes.
  • 4 or you can simmer in a crock pot on low for several hours, or cook in a large pot on the stove over low heat for 2 to 3 hours.
