Camper's Skillet Breakfast

Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cut-up
- 1 medium potato, cooked
- 1/4 cup butter, not margarine
- 5 fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 slice bread, crust tore-up (optional)
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
Recipe
- 1 be sure to stir occasionally during &/or between each step.
- 2 thinly slice or shred potato & set aside.
- 3 place cut-up bacon in a heavy skillet, along with half the butter & cook over medium-high heat until bacon starts to get limp.
- 4 add onion & potaoes & season to taste. (i use lawry's seasoned salt & lawry's seasoned pepper)
- 5 cook until the potaoes just start to brown.
- 6 add sliced mushrooms & tore-up bread crust (i use the end pieces).
- 7 when all is at desired doneness, add remaing butter & the eggs.
- 8 cook until eggs are cooked through.
- 9 serve imediately -- enjoy!
