City Oyster Potato Lasagna - Potato/sweet Potato Gratin

Ingredients

- 2 lbs potatoes
- 10 ounces sweet potatoes
- 5 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 peel and slice all potatoes to the width of a nickel (2 mm slicing disc makes quick work of it).
- 3 toss slices with garlic in a large bowl, easiest by hand.
- 4 oil a 9x9 baking dish or use silicone.
- 5 layer potatoes in 3 layers -- putting 1/3 of the cheese on each layer.
- 6 heat cream over medium heat and add salt and pepper. pour over casserole.
- 7 gently press to be sure all is covered.
- 8 bake 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
- 9 let sit 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
