Caramelized Potatoes Brunede Kartofler (brunede Kartofler)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • firm potato, boiled in their jackets, and then peeled
  • 35 -50 g butter
  • 3 tablespoons caster sugar

Recipe

  • 1 n.b. ~ the recipe states ~ be careful not to overcook the potato's, or they will break up.
  • 2 melt the sugar in a large frying pan. when it is light brown, add the butter. rinse the potato's well under cold water and quickly tip into the pan.
  • 3 shake the pan so that the potato's are caramelized all over.
  • 4 heat through and serve at once.
