Creamed Potatoes

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb boiling potato ( rose is a good variety)
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 boil potatoes in enough water to cover until tender;let cool and peel.
  • 2 slice 1/4 inch thick.
  • 3 arrange slices in single layer (do not overlap) in 4 small or 1 large gratin dish.
  • 4 whip cream to stiff peaks;spread over potatoes.
  • 5 preheat broiler.
  • 6 broil as close to heat source as possible until browned, about 2 minutes.
  • 7 season with salt and pepper and serve.
