Cheesy Potato Kugel

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 4 cups cooked peeled potatoes, shredded or diced
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
Recipe
- 1 in a large frying pan, saute onion in butter until tender.
- 2 do not brown.
- 3 remove from heat and add potatoes.
- 4 toss cheese with flour, salt and pepper.
- 5 add cheese mix to potatoes.
- 6 in a small bowl, combine eggs and cream.
- 7 stir into potato mixture.
- 8 spoon into a greased 9 inch pan.
- 9 bake, uncovered for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- 10 cool for a minute after removing from oven and serve.
