Chicken Supper In A Skillet (for The Grill Or Campfire)

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs chicken parts, cut up
  • butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup mushroom (or small can)
  • 1 (8 ounce) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) can whole onions, drained
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole potatoes
  • 5 ounces milk (about 1/2 soup can)
  • 1 dash pepper

Recipe

  • 1 brown chicken in butter in heavy skillet over medium coals.
  • 2 pour off drippings.
  • 3 combine soup with milk.
  • 4 add soup, mushrooms, potatoes and pepper to chicken.
  • 5 cover.
  • 6 cook over low coals for 45 minutes, stirring often until chicken is no longer pink.
  • 7 add beans and onions.
  • 8 cook 5-10 minutes longer until beans are heated through.
