Ingredients

- 6 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 in a large skillet over medium heat, saute potatoes in butter until almost tender and lightly browned.
- 2 sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 3 add milk.
- 4 simmer uncovered until milk is absorbed.
- 5 top with cheese.
