Convection Oven Baked Potato For One

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 russet baking potato
  • 1 teaspoon oil or 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 choose a russet potato free of blemishes.
  • 3 wash potatoes under running water with a vegetable scrubber brush.
  • 4 pat potato dry.
  • 5 poke the potato all around with a fork for steam to release.
  • 6 spray or rub oil or butter lightly over potato.
  • 7 sprinkle salt over the potato.
  • 8 place potato directly on convection oven rack.
  • 9 bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. turn potato over halfway through baking time.
  • 10 remove from oven when baked.
  • 11 cut or squish top of potato carefully.
  • 12 garnish with butter, yogurt, spices or other condiments.
  • 13 idea: reserve skin to make a baked potato skin with cheese later.
