Chardonnay Chicken

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • skinless chicken breast
  • worcestershire sauce
  • zatarain's creole seasoning
  • butter, pats
  • onion, sliced
  • meat tenderizer
  • thyme (crushed)
  • chardonnay wine (i used ernest & julio gallo)

Recipe

  • 1 place chicken in a glass baking dish.
  • 2 sprinkle each breast with worcestershire sauce (to taste).
  • 3 top with the following:.
  • 4 meat tenderizer.
  • 5 zatarain's creole seasoning (to taste).
  • 6 thyme.
  • 7 place an onion slice on each breast along with a pat of butter.
  • 8 pour wine to side of each breast, i usually pour enough wine around to half submerge each piece.
  • 9 bake at 350 oven until chicken is tender/done.
  • 10 about 30 minutes.
  • 11 "broth"can be used as a gravy for creamed potatoes.
  • 12 mmmmmm!
  • 13 serve with broccoli/cheese& creamed potatoes.
  • 14 my kids love it!
