Creamy Lamb One Pot

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 onions, finely sliced
- 1 1/3 lbs lamb shoulder chops, cut into chunks
- 1 ounce fresh sage, leaves picked off and chopped
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 4 1/2 ounces cream cheese with chives
- 1 lb new potato
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat the oil in a large saucepan with a lid, add the onions and cook for 10 mins stirring regularly, till they start to brown. turn up the heat and add the lamb cooking till it̢۪s browned on all sides.
- 2 sprinkle in the sage and stir then add the broth and bring to a simmer. put the lid on and cook for 30mins until the lamb is tender and cooked through. stir in the cream cheese and season to taste.
- 3 cook the potatoes in boiling water for 15-20mins untill they are cooked through, drain and crush them sightly, season to taste. serve the potatoes accompanied by a good spoonful of the lamb casserole and your favourite greens.
