Calde Verde (portuguese Soup)

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 5 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 collard greens, stems removed
- 1/2 chorizo sausage (cured spanish sausage)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Recipe
- 1 fill large pot with water. add potatoes, onion, sausage, and chicken broth.
- 2 cook until potatoes soft.
- 3 remove sausage.
- 4 puree.
- 5 add collards and cook for about 15 minutes.
- 6 puree.
- 7 chop sausage into small slices.
- 8 add oil and sausage to pot.
- 9 enjoy.
