Corn Chowder

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 -3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 -3 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • bacon, crumbled

Recipe

  • 1 dice bacon, fry until crisp; drain and set aside, reserving 3 tablespoons of grease.
  • 2 stir diced potatoes, diced onion, and celery into the grease.
  • 3 add water, salt and pepper to taste.
  • 4 cook until soft.
  • 5 then add can cream style corn and can of milk.
  • 6 heat to desired temperature.
  • 7 dish up into soup bowls and garnish with crumbled bacon.
