Buttery Baked Potato Slices

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 -4 medium baking potatoes, scrubbed
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • sour cream (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 450.
  • 2 slice potatoes into 1/4 inch thick rounds and place into a lightly greased baking pan.
  • 3 mix butter and oil, and brush lightly over potatoes. sprinkle with salt.
  • 4 bake for 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  • 5 serve with sour cream spread over top or on the side.
