Carrot Tzimmes

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 large carrots
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • lemon rind, grated
  • 1 sweet potato
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • ginger

Recipe

  • 1 slice carrots and sweet potatoes and cook 10 minutes in boiling salted water just to cover.
  • 2 add honey, sugar and oil. cook gently until liguid is absorbed and carrots slightley glazed,about 30 minutes.
  • 3 sprinkle with lemon rind and ginger.
