- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 teaspoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

- 1 select a large stockpot with lid, add all ingredients and gently cook for about an hour. stir once or twice.
