Crab And Corn Chowder

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 4 ounces butter
- 1 onion (diced)
- 4 large potatoes (cooked and cubed)
- 1 cup half-and-half cream
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup clam broth (bottled)
- 2 (8 ounce) cans whole corn (save the juice)
- 1 (8 ounce) can creamed corn
- 1 1/2 lbs crabmeat
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in 6 quart pot.
- 2 add onion,whole corn and half the crabmeat.
- 3 cook till onions are clear.
- 4 add clam broth,liquid from corn & creamed corn.
- 5 bring to boil & add evap. milk & 1/2& 1/2.
- 6 simmer (do not boil).
- 7 add potatoes.
- 8 add remainder of crabmeat the next day.
- 9 cool in refrigerator and reheat the next day.
