Chicken And Lamb Apritada

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb chicken
  • 1 lb lamb
  • 1/2 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 medium potatoes, halved and quartered
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas or 1/2 cup lima beans
  • 1 medium onion, largely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 large tomato, largely chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water or 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 -2 teaspoon soy sauce, to color
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Recipe

  • 1 chop chicken, lamb, sausage, and potatoes into serving size pieces.
  • 2 heat oil in large heavy pot.
  • 3 sauté garlic and onion for a few minutes until fragrant.
  • 4 add lamb, sausage, chicken, chopped tomato, salt and pepper.
  • 5 sauté for about 5 minutes.
  • 6 add tomato sauce and soy sauce to color.
