Ingredients

- 1 large potato
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons black pepper
- canola oil
- salt
Recipe
- 1 scrub to clean the skin nof a large idaho potato; do not peel.
- 2 slice into large fries.
- 3 place into bowl filled with buttermilk.
- 4 toss a few slices at a time in flour mixed with the black pepper.
- 5 fry in hot canola oil 2-to-3 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy on the outside.
