Creamy Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 (32 ounce) package frozen southern -style hash browns, thawed
- 1 lb velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 (16 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup melted margarine
- 3 tablespoons chopped onions
- 8 ounces french fried onion rings
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- 2 spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish.
- 3 bake uncovered at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes.
- 4 add the onion rings during the last five minutes or so.
- 5 note: adjust the sour cream/margarine as you wish. sometimes i add plain yogurt for part of it.
