Creamy Hash Brown Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (32 ounce) package frozen southern -style hash browns, thawed
  • 1 lb velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 (16 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 3 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 8 ounces french fried onion rings

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • 2 spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish.
  • 3 bake uncovered at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes.
  • 4 add the onion rings during the last five minutes or so.
  • 5 note: adjust the sour cream/margarine as you wish. sometimes i add plain yogurt for part of it.
