Creamy Mashed Potato Bake

Ingredients

• 3 cups mashed potatoes
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 1/3 cups french-fried onions, divided
• 1/4 cup diced onion
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, divided

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees. combine mash potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder.
• 2 spoon half of mixture into 2 quart casserole. sprinkle with 2/3 cup french fried onions, onions and 1/2 cup cheese. top with remaining potatoe mixture.
• 3 bake 30 minutes or until hot. top with remaining french fried onions and 1/2 cup cheese.
• 4 bake 5 minutes or until onions are golden.
